The only non-stout in the bunch Caramella is a wheatwine aged in Larceny Wheated Bourbon barrels with apple and cinnamon plus natural caramel flavor added after the aging process meant to evoke classic fall desserts like apple crisp and it accomplishes what it set out to do. Goose Island Brewery located in Chicago has been making this beer for a long time and in 2008 we were lucky enough to start getting it out here in SeattleBut a couple of years ago the brewery stopped sending it out this way leaving some of us to wonder if wed ever see it on shelves again.
